Live Well San Diego 5k

                  Another medal earn. 

     Today I participated in San Diego live well 5K. Great race,great vendors handing out lots of goodies and snacks. 

     The San Diego water front park is so beautiful. Such a great place to run around and enjoy the San Diego sites. 

Americas Finest City Half Marathon

Today I completed my 10th half Marathon!!! I can't believe it's number 10! I remember my first which was the same race AFC Half! Running in my beautiful city is the best! 

The start at CabrillioNational monument and to end in Balboa Park. Watching the sun rise with my running partners was so special to me. The love and support we give each other is amazing! 

The end after we ran 13.1 miles in the blistering heat! Still smiling but Damn it was rough. 

Another Medal Earned. I love that it's a balboa Park theme. One of my favorite places.

Stand up Paddle Boarding

Today we took our running to the bay! Trying something new. Stand up Paddle Boaring! 

So much fun. It was a beautiful day of sun, the bay, a delicious lunch, good friends. And even an impromptu photo shoot. Perfect day! 

Sunset hike up to Cowles Mountain

I finally made an afternoon Hike with my running group Black Girls Run! We made it up just in time to catch a beautiful sunset! Love my girls. 

Sunday Brunch at Candelas on the Bay

It's been such a beautiful summer so far. We wanted to spend Sunday in beautiful Coronado! 

Eric and I are thinking of getting married here at some point, and I really just wanted to test out the food. So we all decided to do Sunday brunch. Here are some pictures. Oh and yes the food was great. We are going back for an official tour, and tasting.

Spend the day sleeping, then I went to a BBQ. And in the evening I went to my cousins to watch fireworks. 

Comic Con 2015

When Comic Con hits your town, We Run! Are usual stomping grounds are now home to Super Heroes and all things Comic Books. Super Fun to get into the spirit and Run! 

California 10/20 10 mile Race

The beauty of getting a free entry!!! We volunteered for 5 hours and got a free race entry! 

We ran from Del Mar, up the beautiful California Coast all the way back! Beautiful morning for a 10 mile run! 

Bonus! I got to spend time with my BGR a Ladies !

Hiking Iron Mountain

I love to be active on the weekends. Part of me is constantly reminded that I use to be a fat girl, and that maybe I'm not as active as I thought. I feel SUPER STRONG HEALTHY!, but something about getting out on the trail, I start to feel not so strong. I think the heat got to me today. I love to wake up early and be active, but I think the old me mentality sometimes kicks in. 

    I feel like I'm constantly reminded that I use to be fat. And I'm ok with that I just feel sometimes, I hold other people back. It sucks to feel strong and then get out on the trail and instantly feel weak minded!

Iron Mountain is a Beautiful hike! Make sure you bring tons of water. The hike is only 3 1/2 miles, but is a killer if your not prepared!

Comic Con 2014

I did it again, got to go to Comic Con. I called up my friend and he said he had a free ticket! I love walking around this Convention. And the best part is living in San Diego! No flights to book, just drive down to the Convention Center. 

This year, I'm looking forward to the Hello kitty Con! Yep, the first ever Hello Kitty Convention.
