Live Well San Diego 5k

                  Another medal earn. 

     Today I participated in San Diego live well 5K. Great race,great vendors handing out lots of goodies and snacks. 

     The San Diego water front park is so beautiful. Such a great place to run around and enjoy the San Diego sites. 

Ultimate wine Run!

This was the first year for San Diego to host this race. And boy did it show! Instead of going over thing that went wrong. And there were tons of things. I'm just going to get to the good part. WINE! After this 5K, you received a glass or two of wine. For 20 bucks we got a glass of wine a medal  and a great time with my girlfriends. Well worth it in the end. Here are a few pictures of our night.

Yee haw! Some Moonshine Fun! 5k

How did I spend my Saturday night? Running a super fun fast 5k. Followed by a Country Festival, full of moonshine and Food Trucks. 

Yep, cowgirl hats and all! Yes, we ran in Jean shorts and hats. Super fun! 

Super Bowl 5k

This morning I ran my first race of 2016, and earned my first medal. 

The San Diego super run. Great race. We ran around sea word. Super easy and stree free! And I bought it cheap on groupon! One down 15 more to go! 

Surfing Madonna 10 Mile Run

Let me be honest! I have not been running. So today's 10 mile run was very difficult for me . I have not really trained since August. 

My friend injured herself, so she gifted me a race. The Surfing Madonna held in the beautiful beach town of Encinitas. The weather was picture Perfect, race was well organized. The expo has great venders. Only problem was running 10 miles in the damn sand! Yikes! Gotta  get back to running on a regular. I miss being able to run an easy 10 miles. 

La Jolla shores 5k

Today I ran the la jolla 5k. The course is so Beautiful. La Jolla is just so picture perfect! I PR'd today running a 27 min 5k. I was so excited!!! Finally my work is paying off. I've been running a 10 min. Mile for so long. It's nice to see improvements. I'm also seeing physical improvements too. My body isstarting to transform..... Finally!!! Love it!! I've gotta run this half marathon someday! 

Beer time, it's gotta be 5 pm somewhere?!?!? 

I sure did enjoy it at 8:00am! 

Chips and salsa too. The perfect portion for my eating lifestyle. 

Fit-Fab and Lean 2013

Fit-Fab and Lean 5k/Half Marathon  is the first time that I've ran a "Virtual Race". A Virtual race is when you run when ever you want. Report your race results on Facebook and they send you a Medal:) Easy Right?
I was a little scared to sign up because I had no idea how the Medals would look or if she would even send it to me! But to my surprise it went well. The Organization kept in contact through Facebook and personal email. And the Medals were super cute and nice. I had a great time running and I got a Super Cute Medal.

Vista Strawberry Festival 10/5k

Oh why do I run??? Waking up early, looking for parking, driving in the dark.... I love race mornings but I hate waking up at the Crack of Dawn!

Encinitas Sports Festival & B&L Sprint Triathlon!!



 

What do you do on a Saturday morning? Well if you like me you go running. But this time I got my whole family out. Parents, sister and two cousins! I was so happy that everyone had a great time. The Encinitas 5k is a really nice event. There were some of the sweetest volunteers ever. I have never been to a race where everyone was so nice. And I run a lot!!!!

The morning started out early and we headed up to Encinitas.. About a 30 min drive. It's so pretty out there. Right on the coast. Very pretty, I may have to go running up there. We got out race packets and attached our timing chip, We were all set to run!!! Here are some pictures. Oh yeah and we got a really cool Medal!

Color Me RAD- San Diego 5k

Color me RAD is a super colorful 5k!

You litterly run around throwing color on each other!  I love to run in races like this. Since I run all the time running for a great cause and getting people who do not like to run, out and running is FUN!

Pre race- You show up in a white tee- then by the end of the 5k you are all sparkling!

 

 

It's Electric/ Electric Run 5k-San Diego

Electric run is a fun night of running in the dark with a bunch of Strangers!!! The whole Del Mar Fair Grounds were lit with lights and flashing strobe lights. This 5k took you through tunnels and glow in the dark paved course. Super FUN!!

The Finish Line
