Rock n Roll San Diego Half Marathon

Ahhh, Another half marathon. Today I ran the rock 'n' roll San Diego.
Rock n Roll Marathons are always fun. The coures was surprisingly awesome. We ran through lots of little cute quaint neighborhoods. And boy did the neighborhood show out. A few of the houses even had a bar set up in their front yard. So much fun to run, and have a shot of tequila. All at mile four!!!
I finished strong, and felt great!!!
Here are a few pictures.

 Another medal earned!

La Jolla Half Marathon!

Ohhh Boy!!!
Well it's Over!!
Basically it was the hardest race so far... Well to the races defence, I have not been training, so every mile was harder than usual. The course was Georgeous! The ocean is so calming and pretty. Palm trees, I see why we are called the a golden State.
So I've decided to start running full time again. Running I miss you! And I miss my running body! Thank you la jolla, for reminding me how much I miss my sport.

Hollywood half marathon

So I guess it's safe to say that I do not enjoy running LA! The city of Angles is filled with so many inclines. Not thigh friendly at all!!!

Now that I got that out of the way.......

 On the positive  note........
My running buddy and I woke up at 1:00am! To hit the road up to LA, we live in San Diego so it's about a 2:30 hour drive.
we got hungry at mile 5. stopped at 7-11
It started to rain around mile 7.
And we  sucked it up and finished the race. Best part!!!! The Medal! Yep! Drove 2:30 hours for an awesome medal! Over all I had a great time with my friends:-)

Americas Finest City Half Marathon

Today I completed my 10th half Marathon!!! I can't believe it's number 10! I remember my first which was the same race AFC Half! Running in my beautiful city is the best!
The start at CabrillioNational monument and to end in Balboa Park. Watching the sun rise with my running partners was so special to me. The love and support we give each other is amazing!
The end after we ran 13.1 miles in the blistering heat! Still smiling but Damn it was rough.
