Wine Tasting in Temecula

Cabernet Grapes!!!

MONTE DE ORO WINERY
In July, 2008, OGB broke ground on an 18-acre site for developing Monte De Oro Winery.
Located off Rancho California Road in the heart of Temecula’s wine valley, the property is superbly positioned to take advantage of its natural vantage point for showcasing the beauty of the surrounding landscape. There are panoramic views of the Cleveland National Forest (home of the Palomar Observatory) and Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. To the north is the San Bernardino National Forest and during the winter months, it is not uncommon to see snowcaps on the mountaintops.
Completed in November, 2009, Monte de Oro Winery is rich with Old World splendor and charm. From its majestic alabaster chandeliers to its rich alder wood wine bars and warm chiseled travertine floors, the décor instantly transports guests to an elegant, luxurious experience that is both comfortable and inviting. As you explore the interior, you'll find at every turn a thoughtfully placed, tasteful addition — the see-through glass floor is just one such stunning example.
Eventually, the estate will support a full working winery. Currently however, Monte De Oro Winery houses a tasting room hospitality center, a wine barrel basement and racking operation, winemaking operations for 3,500 gallons and vineyard.
By 2011, Monte De Oro Winery will be expanded to include full-scale winemaking operations with a natural gravity flow winemaking crush pad and wine fermentation

A Perfect day in Temecula
