Hello Mr. President!!!!!

I do not consider myself a political person but being able to witness Obama take office made me want to Celebrate. Not only because I love to party but because we were making HISTORY!!!!!! My dad who has never voted in 60+ years actually went out and registered to vote. We had a great time celebrating his inauguration acceptance speech. And did it all over again when he was sworn into office.

My Journey to being a Marathon Runner!!!!!

I had this bright idea about 2 years ago to run a Marathon. So I started off slow first I ran a 5k. Then I tried a 10k. Which I thought I was going to die. Then I decided I just had to get the guts to just run a 1/2 Marathon. Well now I have 8 weeks until I put my feet where my mouth is and Run!!! I'm training right now. It is so difficult for me to get out of my soft comfortable bed and run......But I do it. I have 8 weeks until the big Day I will keep you posted.....

What a great song. I remember watching the Golden Girls as a young girl. I was remined the other night that they were the original Sexy in the City Girls. They just happened to be "Golden". The ladies were such support for each other and told it like it is. Here are is a picture of my Girls!!!!
